Government Free Gold scheme From 1 january 2020

If you are planning to get married in the coming New Year, good news for you. In fact, from January 1, the Assam government will give 10 grams of gold to every bride who has studied at least 10 norms and registered for marriage. The government announced the scheme last month. The government has put certain conditions in place to take advantage of this scheme.

There are certain conditions for availing the "Arundhati Swarna Yojana". Annual income of the bride's family who wants to avail this scheme should be less than 5 lakhs. The benefit of the "Arundhati Swarna Yojana" will only be available on the girl before marriage. For this, registration has to be made under the Special Marriage Act 1954.

Gold under the "Arundhati Swarna Yojana" is not given in physical form, after marriage registration and verification, Rs 30,000 will be deposited in the bridal bank account. He will then have to submit a receipt for the purchase of gold. This money may not be used for any other purpose.

The amount of Rs 30,000 for 10 grams of gold has been fixed after taking into consideration the average price of gold for the whole year. Each budget will be revised. In addition to the Deputy Commissioner's offices, marriage will be registered in the Circle Offices. The "Arundhati Swarna Yojana" government treasury will cost around Rs 800 crore annually. Currently, the Assam government has kept a budget of Rs 300 crore for the three months in the current financial year.
