Gujarat State Secondary Service Selection Board has announced the decision to cancel the recruitment examination for the Non-Secretarial Clerk and Office Assistant to be held on October 20th. The decision, announced Friday evening, said that the exam has been canceled enough. But no clarification has been made as to when the new dates will be announced. Asked about the chairperson of the Board, Asit Warra, he said that there has been a notice from the state general administration department to cancel the exam. The reason behind the cancellation of the exam has been a new revelation that the exam has been canceled due to academic qualification. Now the exam will be retaken by increasing the educational qualification. Now the exam will be conducted on the basis of graduate education qualification, not the standard 12 pass. The new exam date will be announced shortly.
10.75 lakh candidates from the state were to appear for the exam. If the educational qualification is improved and it is graduated then it will be eligible to cancel the application of many applicants who are eligible for the standard twelve pass as per the original advertisement. It's been a year since the announcement came out, and now the prospect of a change of government rule could cause candidates uncertainty whether they will be eligible for recruitment even after applying. The Secondary Service Selection Board has instructed all resident Additional Collector and District Education Officer. Information on the cancellation of the exam for 10 lakh 45 thousand candidates has been put on the website.
The exam was also canceled twice in the past
Earlier, the exam was canceled for two different reasons. Of the 10.75 lakh candidates in the state, the highest 1.50 lakh candidates were to appear in the examination from Ahmedabad. While more than 1 lakh candidates were to appear for the examination from Ahmedabad village.
